魔術師ライザは王国に帰還した。
その魂が、別人の下卑た男と入れ替わっていることに誰も気づかぬまま。

「モレスタ王国」の警吏（警察）魔術師を務めるエルフのライザ・アルケイディアは、王国領内の迷宮（ダンジョン）に潜り込んだ盗掘家チリスを処刑する任務の最中だった。

ようやくチリスを追い詰め、いざ刑の執行間際に迷宮のゴブリンがフロアへ足を踏み入れる。
その瞬間、ゴブリンが仕掛けられた迷宮の罠を踏み抜き、フロアに大きな雷鳴が響く。
同じフロアに居たライザ、チリス、そしてゴブリンは同時に気を失う。

ライザは、目を覚ますと違和感に気付いた。
………自身の姿がゴブリンになっている。

ゴブリンが踏んだのは「入れ替わりの罠」であり、フロア内の魔物や人間の精神を入れ替えてしまうというものだった。
